My whole life I have struggled with the idea of 'hobbies'. Apparently work doesn't count as a hobby, so I looked back on my childhood and realized all my favorite memories were from the kitchen. So, I started watching MasterChef (as you do) and decided (also as you do) that I can do anything they're doing on that show.
And that's the story of of me deciding that cooking is now my, official, hobby!
And, since I don't do things in halves, I had to involve my sweet, wonderful husband in my foodcapades as well. I decided that for a whole year, we're going to do the same thing every week:
Brandon (my husband) will pick a country
I get 5-6 days to research and plan a meal from that country
I will cook (or attempt to cook - I make no promises) something from that country
.....repeat
So - that's how we got here. Because something so terrifyingly exciting needs to be memorialized. I'm mostly just doing this blog for me and, maybe, some family and friends - but if you got here and have read this far, WELCOME!

I live in Arizona with my handsome, wonderful, sweet husband Brandon and our equally amazing toddler Amelia. Seriously, I'm super lucky.
I'm super Catholic. Like goes-to-a-Latin-mass-weekly Catholic
I'm Polish and really enjoy anything Polish-related: food, pottery, food...
I am an AMATEUR cook - so set your expectations accordingly
